Stowe House Admission and Event Tickets – Conditions of Sale and Entry
Once purchased, House and Event tickets cannot be refunded or returned.
Day and Event tickets are valid only on the specified date and time.
Changes to the date and/or entry time of the House can be made up to 24 hours in advance, subject to availability. Event tickets are non-transferable.
The unlawful resale or attempted resale of a ticket is grounds for seizure or
cancellation without refund or compensation.
All prices are correct at the time of publishing but are subject to change
without prior notice.
Children aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult at all attractions and organised events. Accompanying adults are responsible for always
supervising the children in their care. We reserve the right to refuse admission to unaccompanied children.
Teachers and group leaders act in loco parentis and assume responsibility for the well-being, behaviour, and safety of their group always.
Stowe House reserves the right to refuse admission, terminate a visit, close
rooms, or restrict access to areas within the house at short notice and without
warning.
All events will proceed regardless of weather conditions unless they pose a
health and safety risk to visitors and staff. In the event of a closure for health
and safety reasons, we will make every effort to reschedule events or provide
refunds.
In the event of a cancellation or closure, Stowe accepts no responsibility for
travel, accommodation, or other associated costs.
Stowe is an inclusive organization that values and respects the diversity of our visitors, communities, and colleagues. Any behaviour that contradicts this policy will not be tolerated, and visitors engaging in such behaviour will be asked to leave.
Stowe House accepts no responsibility for personal property.
Due to its function as a school, photography is not permitted during term time. During school holidays, photography is allowed for non-commercial, private use only, unless otherwise directed by staff. The use of drones is not permitted anywhere at Stowe.
Stowe House reserves the right to search visitors' bags upon entry to the
house or events. Failure to comply with a search request may result in entry
being refused.
Dogs are not permitted in the House, except for registered support dogs.
Support dogs must wear a coloured harness or jacket and must be always
kept on a lead.
Wedding photoshoots are not permitted unless Stowe is the venue for the
wedding. Unauthorized photoshoots will result in visitors being asked to leave.
16. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings and on the premises, except in
designated smoking areas.
As a condition of sale, visitors to Stowe House consent to being
photographed, filmed, or recorded for use on TV, websites, social media,
DVDs, webcasts, promotional materials, or other public platforms, either as
part of the audience or via security CCTV.
